This keyboard is really awesome by it's look and feel. However, you might experience some problems with the stock firmware. Stock firmware has "N-key rollover" enabled and while this is nice for gamers it causes problems with KVM. Luckily, keyboard supports open source QMK firmware for keyboards and I was able to (a) set up QMK development environment, (b) change the source code to dissable N-key rollover, (c) compile new firmware and (d) upload my custom firmware to the keyboard. NOW IT IS PERFECT! NOTE: Stock key caps are not translucent so light will not travel through them.

I ordered the Q3 with Gateron G Pro Reds and with the knob.

Had a Corsair keyboard with silvers before this one, and I must say that I definitely missed out. Hotswap allows for easy switch replacement. I ordered Kailh super speed switches, which I could easily replace some keys with. After using it for 2 months, one switch (Gateron red from prebuild) started to double/triple tap. Switched it out within a few minutes.

The knob is smooth, so large volume changing is easy, yet snappy, which is nice for precise audio volume leveling. However it does require some force to click it. Although, who uses the mute all audio function anyways?

I did need some time to get used to having no numpad coming from a full sized keyboard, but I programmed the right most keys to work as a numpad when holding down fn (only the numbers, as there are not enough keys for the + - / * hehe). Looks way cleaner than a 100% keyboard not gonna lie.

This keyboard is an almost effortless entry for mechanical keyboard interests, who haven't digged into custom keyboards before, by getting a custom keyboard experience with no required assembly. It might not be the best for everyone, but it is pretty good for most.

Oh, and the rgb is pretty nice. They are pretty bright and noticeable, even though the keycaps they come with are not shine-through. And if you don't look a lot at your keys, you won't really need shine-through keycaps anyways if you're in the dark for example.

I don't write reviews a lot but I felt like reviewing this keyboard, as I've used it every day since I got it and I just love it.

I got my Q3 after wearing down some "normal" cherry brown boards (ducky, hyperX, coolermaster). Well, not actually wearing them down.. You get what I mean.
I must say, what a world of difference! I'm totally in love with my Q3. The typing is such a blast! I ordered the pre-build one with gatheron browns, pre-lubed. I ended up doing the tape mod to improve the already perfect experiance even more (highly recommended).
In fact, I love this board so much I bring it with me to my daily job (Software Engineer). You go keychron!

Do not order if you want a headache. Placed an order for THIS KEYBOARD and KEYS ($300+) Only to be reached back in days to make you confirm you purchased to only hold your money. After they declined my purchase for no reason. Save yourself a headache and get something cheaper and faster.
