I had seen builds on Youtube with this keyboard, demonstrating how solid it was as a customisable base at a great price. I got the fully assembled, no knob, with K Pro Brown, and I am VERY impressed. The sound dampening and isolation is very good, with typing sounds not having any unwanted reverberations, creating a clean sound profile for very little money. The build is heavy and feels strong, and will do very well for the office where I intend to keep this build for the forseeable future.

The K Pro Brown switches are a bit of a disappointment for me though. That they are factory lubed means no spring ping, but the tactility of the switches was very very subtle, making them actually feel closer to linears than the tactiles I am used to. Thankfully, the board is hot-swappable, so after an hour's work, I have the board equipped with the K-Pro Silent Tactiles, which have much more pronounced tactile bump and significantly reduced sound for the office.

I have to commend the use of VIA software, as the instant customizability is unparalleled, and a huge benefit over any 1st party software I've experienced. The RGB effects are many and varied, and there is the ability to customize the saturation, hue and brightness of a solid colour so that you can match any other theme.

At this price, you get a silicone pad and plate foam, which is 90% of the way to premium keyboards, and the results are excellent. Big fan of this board, and can't recommend it enough. I could see the V series being used in a multitude of builds if friends or family want an introductory mechanical keyboard. The value over a similarly priced Logitech or Corsair is incomparable.

I was buying this keyboard to mod it. Already bought and lubed some switches. Then it got delivered. I typed on it. I was kinda amazed, really good sound coming from the factory lubed switches. I didn't expect it to be so good. So I tried my own switches that I bought and lubed and it sounded worse. I'm totally amazed by this and switched back to stock switches keyboard and might buy another for work. Really great keyboard! 5/5!

Loving this keyboard so far. Seems to be built really well, especially considering the price. Very customizable and has great features built in. Love the knob version! Overall I'd give it a 10/10

I hate gaming keyboards, they look like rainbow-shining toys for kids and they sound terrible. Not this beauty, the design is 10x better and it feels amazing when typing. I have red switches, carbon black and without knob, because it was the only one in stock. Typing in the first days was rough, I made a lot of mistakes easily, because I wasn't used to the red switches. After few weeks, I got used to it and typing is flawless. Only downside is that it doesn't have shine-through keycaps, but I don't care really. Works on linux too without any issues! Overall 10/10, would buy again

The v-series are great keyboards, and the TKL layout is super useful and a great choice if just stepping down from full size. Highly recommend!
